Six sided dice (also known as d6 dice) come in a large variety of sizes, shapes, colors, styles, and types of markings, and are numbered 1 to 6. The d6 in a DnD polyhedral dice set has the numbers 1 to 6 written out, whereas more traditional d6 dice are marked with spots, pips. The numbers are arranged so that the largest number (6) is on the opposite side of the smallest number (1), the 2nd largest number (5) is on the opposite side of the 2nd smallest number (2), and so on. The sum of the opposite sides is always 7.
Six sided dice typically dice measure 16mm tall, but they can range from very tiny 5mm dice to huge 50mm dice (and even bigger)!
