Winter Shipping Delay Notice

February 22, 10:15 AM Update

Well, I believe the worst is behind us! Once we see packages traveling like they did before this storm, we'll resume our 1-4 day shipping. Thanks again to all for your patience and understanding. 

February 20, 12:55 PM Update

The weather and conditions have improved wonderfully yesterday and today. We expect things to return to normal on Monday, except I expect carriers to be backed up because of this past week. We will not resume our 1-4 day shipping service until we see how things go, but we do not anticipate the carriers missing any pickups. 

February 19, 12:45 PM Update

I just received an email from our FedEx representative. Here's the latest info regarding their operations:

It has been quite challenging for our FedEx team in DFW with no power, rolling power outages, broken pipes, limited water, and natural gas.(...) This is causing operation delays and limited service for Express, Ground, and Freight services.

Express:
...We will not be doing pickups for Express today and Saturday. We ask that you hold Express packages until Monday.

Ground:
Ground has limited drivers delivering today. We are attempting to have some pickups today and over the weekend.

February 19, 12:00 PM Update

Conditions have improved immensely but most carriers are still not picking up directly from our warehouse. We're dropping off all packages at our local hubs so we're hoping we can get packages in the mail-stream before things get too backed up.

It has been a very unusual week here. We're excited for things to turn back to normal, which I suspect Monday will bring. Thank you all for your patience and for putting your trust in our small business. If you would need to get in contact please email us at support@pippd.com.

FedEx isn't picking up from our location today but we've heard that they might from our local FedEx store/hub. We'll head that way shortly to drop off all of the packages we have prepared. Hopefully, you'll start seeing updates in tracking soon.

All orders have been prepared for shipment except for a few from today. I haven't heard if FedEx or any of the other carriers are picking up tomorrow, but we'll be ready if they do!

We have received confirmation that carriers are not picking up today. We're still preparing orders for when they do resume though. If you receive an email with tracking information, your order will be picked up as soon as carriers are operating again in our area.

I have received confirmation from our FedEx representative that they will not be picking up today. Please contact us at support@pippd.com if you have any questions or concerns and I'll work to get back to you as soon as possible.

Our warehouse has power sporadically today but we're working with a limited staff to pick and prepare orders. FedEx is unlikely to come by but we are working as quickly as possible to have as many of your packages ready for them if and when they do.

February 15, 1:30 PM Weather Update

Due to the severe winter weather impacting our area, we are experiencing delays in processing orders. Continued rotating power outages due to high consumer demand are making processing of orders difficult. We are also unsure when FedEx will resume normal operations here. 

We will continue to monitor the situation and will process your orders as quickly as possible. For now, we will be suspending our '1-4 day shipping' service but will still be shipping orders via FedEx Express and FedEx Ground services when we are able to resume processing orders.
